The alleged father is not available for paternity testing and only one or neither of his parents are available for grandparentage DNA testing. DNA testing may still be possible if the right relatives are available.

Since genetic connections are so strong, it is possible to determine paternity using siblings of the alleged father. The siblings must be full biological siblings - meaning the alleged father and his siblings must share both the same biological mother and father.
