Choosing Laboratory Excellence. Our laboratory is continually growing and improving. We set the standards for the paternity testing industry and then we surpass them. Take, for example, in July of 2002, the AABB issued an order for all accrediting laboratories to conduct verification of all exclusion cases (a paternity test where the tested father is determined to not be the biological father of the tested child). Most laboratories will rerun 1 loci of each sample on those cases to verify the results. That fulfills the Association's request, however, we like to take the next step.
We run EVERY DNA test twice. Not just a loci on exclusions, but every single test, no matter the outcome, is conducted twice by 2 separate teams of highly educated DNA testing technologists.
